Change comes in many forms. Sometimes gradual evolution of events leads us down a winding path to our destination, sometimes a little more speedy chain of events brings us to a new place, and sometimes the sudden *zip!* of radical shifting catapults us to precisely where we are supposed to be. I recently became the human fodder of such a catapult when I found myself packing for my return trip home on the spur of the moment.
The "how" and "why" of my homecoming are not as important as the fact that I am here...finally. It has been a long road and I am glad that this propulsion into the beautiful Pacific Northwest has landed me safely with family and friends. There is much still to do, and I will chronicle that journey here...but for now, I will simply say, "There is no place like home!"
